Diablo IV's upcoming quarterly update will focus on endinggame systems and visual effects of which Shely says there's "a lot we're excited to announce." Diablo: Resurrected, a faithful re-release of the classic RPG that has updated graphics and minor quality-oflife improvements released on September 23. Diablo IV does not currently have an estimated release date.
"However these modifications and additional opportunities to improve our gaming experience won't be implemented in the timeframe of 2021 that we previously had communicated," Blizzard says. "So this game is scheduled to launch in the first quarter of 2022. this will allow us to incorporate significant improvements to the whole game."
Blizzard continues to detail some of the changes being made to Diablo Immortal. Regarding PvE, Diablo Immortal will receive new raids for eight players, while also adjusting the game's current Bounty system to make Challenge Rifts more rewarding.
On the PvP front, Blizzard will be tweaking certain aspects of its Battlegrounds system, as and that of the game's faction-based Cycle of Strife
