Blizzard Wants World of Warcraft Legacy Servers It says Nostalrius Manager

In the month of April Blizzard removed servers that were pirated. World of Warcraft server that had the MMO's beginnings prior to any expansions. Blizzard had a meeting with the Nostalrius team behind Nostalrius in the past, and we have a clear idea of what they spoke about and where Blizzard takes a stand on the topic of old servers.

"After this discussion, we're able confirm that these guys WANT to get Legacy WoW servers, that is certainly the case," said project manager Viper on the Nostalrius forums. "We tried our best for this meeting to be as professional and discussions as professional as is possible, which was something that clearly was a pleasant unexpected delight for the entire Blizzard team, including CEO Mike Morhaime being just one of them."

The scheduled time for the meeting was under two hours but it ended up going for more than five hours. Viper claims that Blizzard was "very intrigued, curious and attentive." In attendance were Morhaime and executive producer J. Allen Brack, and game director Tom Chilton. Viper adds that the Nostalrius team was "very amazed by the profound respect and admiration that they all shared for" the work on their legacy servers they had done.

The discussion that took place included the pirate server's history and the method of its creation, and other buy WOW WOTLK Classic Gold technical details like the anti-cheat software the team devised for Nostalrius. However, nothing with regards to the possibility of bringing legacy servers from the past to life was confirmed.
